I have Progressive , but they will only cover 20miles in from the border. We are traveling all the way into Michoacan, so that won't help. I dont have a vehicle but i need to be insured as a driver. I cant find any auto insurance places that allow this. I have tried Allstate, Progressive, Geico....the only one that will do it is the General. Do you know of any others? I wuold atleast like to know if I have more options b4 i sign onto the General.

How to get reduced insurance quickly with points on license?

I have an accident and a ticket on my record, I think that is it. I have a ticket from an accident and another accident that wasn't my fault I didn't get a ticket. I have points on my license but I'm not sure how many. I wish I would have known to hire a lawyer to go against the ticket to lower it instead of just paying it. My insurance is crazy high: $300+ a MONTH. I can't do that and make my rent and car payments. Is there some quick way I can have my insurance reduced? A driving class or something? Is it really too late to have the points reduced?
