How is being forced to by health-care insurance different than being forced to carry auto insurance?

I can think of ta few ways: 1. We don't HAVE to drive 2. If we do drive, most states require insurance, but also may take a bond or proof that you have money to compensate 3. Auto insurance is mandated by the state, not the federal government
