My daughters just got her drivers license and her mother does not have auto insurance.?

Her mother and I broke up when she was 4 years old. My daughter is 16 now. I have auto insurance for myself, but my daughters mother does not. I told her mother that my daughter is not allowed to drive without auto insurance. Auto insurance in the state of wisconsin is mandatory. If my daughters gets in an accident with no insurance am I liable? I have 50-50 custody.
