For a renters insurance policy is the declarations page similar to a homeowners insurance policy?

I need to show proof of my renters insurance policy. Will the renters insurance policy show my name and address that is covered similar to a home or auto insurance policy? They are actually asking for a home insurance policy for a job but would renters insurance policy be similar since I rent and don't own?
