Is it smart to get insurance to protect my income when I do get pregnant and out of work 6 weeks?

I just purchased insurance from Afflac that will pay my salary for 6 weeks or 8 weeks for cesarian. I'm not planning on getting pregnant ANYTIME soon, and they take money out of my check each week for the insurance, is it a good idea?
