How many folks against mandatory auto insurance opted not to own a car instead of paying their insurance?

People say that mandatory auto insurance is different than mandatory health insurance because you CAN opt not to own a car. I'm just curious what percent of people objecting to mandatory insurance decided to sell their car instead of getting the insurance? Can you answer the stated question? To ca; those aren't fallacies - merely differences in detail. What does it matter which government is requiring it? What does it matter who the policy covers? I'm guessing those opposed to mandatory insurance isn't concerned about either of those. Yet most plunked down their cash anyway... Seems highly hypocritical
