I was in a car accident 18moths ago and sustained an injury to my hand. My claim went beyond the responsible party's maximum insurance and into my under insured motorist policy. I have settled with the other insurance but am now having a difficult time getting my insurance company to discus settlement. I've survived long enough on no insurance. I used to have state farm insurance through my parents and they would pay for my insulin/test strip/needle/etc... costs.
