Why should teachers get the same health insurance as people who actually work all year?

Why does a teacher get the same insurance as someone who works all year and takes the normal two weeks of vacation? That's insane. How about this compromise: you teachers will still get insurance, but not during the time you aren't being productive. That means during the summer, unless you teach summer school, your insurance is cancelled! Health insurance should be 100% contingent on employment.
