My wife was hit by a car while riding her bicycle on the sidewalk. She needed surgery and now bills are really adding up. Our health insurance says the auto insurance is responsible and the auto insurance says our health insurance is responsible. We are constantly being handed back and forth should we seek out a lawyer and risk owing more money to more people? What steps should we take? Are we out of luck? We live in the state of Michigan.
