I have auto coverage in Texas and was wondering if it covers the vehicle or me, or both? If my brother borrows my car does my insurance cover him if he gets in an accident? I'm 49 years old. My brother is just one example, what if my sister-in-law wants to borrow my vehicle, or my neighbor? I did ask my insurer and they were kind of guarded about their answer which I wasn't too happy about, you would think you could get a clear cut answer to the question, but not so much. Do laws differ by state I wonder?
