How many numbers in the policy number does Progressive, NationWide auto Insurance have?

I happen to be in an auto accidance, I collected everything from the involved party except his Insurance Company name. Could someone tell me which company writes this policy. The policy number has this format: ###-######-12/29, Where # is numeric value. (9 digits follows by 12/29) Thank You! I called farmers and it is not their policy. look like last part of the pol# (12/29) is just the effective date. - thanks
